Technology is ever present and has had an enormous effect on how we live our day-to-day lives. But what effect can this have on language learning? What are the possible positive and negative effects of technologies and social media on language learning? It is claimed that technologies can be used to give learners more autonomy, help create a more student centred environment and increase levels of motivation. But can it also create a feeling of alienation and disengagement?
The implications of technologies in classroom are huge, and I must do a lot of research to understand how to be integrate them into my classes. Here are the beginnings of this research.
