The TOEIC test has been a big part of my internship, and has left with me with lots of questions about the value of such a test. How does it reflect the students abilities to communicate? Do TOEIC preparation classes help students improve? Can the TOEIC be prepared for following a communicative and task-based approach? Or is this type of multiple choice test un-pedagogical?
